The Registered Financial Planners Institute (RFPI) offers two designations in the United States:
1. RFP – Registered Financial Planner
2. ARFP – Affiliate Registered Financial Planner

Upon acceptance into the institute, all members are required to abide by the RFPI code of ethics and maintain CEUs related to their field of expertise and/or professional license. All members will receive a wall certificate and can be searched in our online members listings. A successful membership to RFPI ® is for one year and must renewed annually for a membership to remain active.
Registered Financial Planner

Affiliate Registered Financial Planner
$75.00 annually (plus $50.00 one-time processing fee) APPLY | The ARFP ® designation is open to anyone with an active interest in financial planning and who agrees to observe the RFPI code of ethics.

Important
Candidates must fully complete an application form and meet any other qualification criteria as applicable to the RFPI, SRFP or ARFP designations. The Board and Admissions Director will review all qualifications and experience and will assign the appropriate designation. The SRFP designation is by special invite from the USA Headquarters of RFPI. Failure to pay the institute’s annual dues in any year after the initial application or failure to submit CEU’s shall result in a forfeiture of the previously assigned designation and relinquishment of the right to any further use of the RFPI name and designation(s).
A member may be expelled, suspended, or disciplined if:
1. Violates any of the code of ethics, state laws or federal laws in the country that the member practices.
2. Has been found guilty by the board of directors of any act discrediting to the financial planning profession.
3. By not fulfilling CEU requirements of their respective professional license.
4. Failure to be a member in good standing with RFPI.
