Institute (RFPI)
A Brief History
RFPI was formed in 1983 to promote
professionalism among those who are or will be active in the field
of financial planning for individual and businesses. The institute
offers study programs both in classroom conducted seminars and
correspondence course Programs, plus provides designations to
individuals who demonstrate a high level of skills in financial
planning in their respective field(s) of business.
Objective
RFPI is a collective membership of financial
planners and conducts programs that are designed to serve the
interest of both it’s members and the general public in matters
relating to financial planning.
Major
Elements
RFPI recognizes qualified individuals who are
in the field of financial planning which would include insurance
agents, attorneys, loan officers, real estate people, CPA’s,
bankers, securities, stock brokers, or people licensed in similar
fields that have the ability to properly financial plan individuals
or businesses.
Education
In the form of seminars and home course study
materials in all fields of financial planning. RFPI also endorses
and credits many courses which are now available by schools of
higher education across the United States and throughout China, Hong

Legislation
Both actual and proposed is monitored by the
institute, and it supports those legislative programs that are
considered to be in the public interest.

Ethics
All members of RFPI subscribe to the RFPI code
of ethics, a major purpose of which is to ensure that the work
performed for clients conforms to the high standards of professional

Referral Program
This is a service available to all RFPI
members who have need of such service with membership incentives
earned and credit applied toward renewal dues upon the approval of
referred new member.
